The 3G-enabled newest BlackBerry Curve has just launched on Vodafone UK.
If you’re a fan of earlier Curve handsets like the 8900 and 8520, you should appreciate the low cost combined with high ability that the 9300 has to offer.
Sporting the traditional BlackBerry design of screen and QWERTY keyboard, the Curve 3G 9300 model comes with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity for staying in touch on the move. There is access to BlackBerry App World and the phone has many features and apps pre-installed, including for social networking sites Twitter and Facebook. And the phone should be upgradable to the new BB OS 6 when it’s released so you can enjoy enhanced web browsing and greater support for multi-tasking – this OS debuts on the high-end Torch 9800 phone.
Popular smartphone services are included on the Curve 3G. There is BlackBerry Messenger for sending messages to fellow BlackBerry users for free, as well as Windows Live for instant messaging. You can sync the device with iTunes and add your music collection to the phone, which also features dedicated music keys on its casing.
Free on a two-year, £30 a month contract, Curve 3G Vodafone deals include 600 minutes and 3000 texts. The smartphone is also available through O2, Orange, T-Mobile and 3. Do you own the new Curve phone? We’d welcome your comments and BlackBerry 9300 reviews, here.
RIM launched the BlackBerry Curve 9300 in Malaysia last week and Gregory Wade, managing director for South East Asia, RIM, said of the handset: “The BlackBerry Curve 3G is both an accessible and feature-rich smartphone which will be popular with customers in Malaysia who highly value communications and productivity tools that help them get ahead of their day. With the ability to connect to 3G and Wi-Fi networks, users can access information and communicate quickly with the people that matter, as well as take advantage of useful features like built-in GPS to share their location on BBM and social networking sites.”
