    UK’s Hottest Selling Mobile Phones

September 9th, 2010 by Best Mobile Contracts

When it comes to comparing smart phones, dealing with all the specs and style details can get pretty hair-raising, after all, what is great and practical to one person may be completely useless for another. But when the only thing you look at is the sales performance, then it is easy to see which mobile phones truly are succeeding in the UK.

Starting things off, no list would be complete without the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini handset. The small sized Android device is a sure fire hit. The only issue is that typing on the device is a lot slower compared to the Mini Pro which is bulkier, but packs a QWERTY keyboard. Overall, there really is a lot to love about the X10 Mini, and the device has already established itself as an Android standard.

Surprisingly, the Samsung Wave handset has managed to keep itself in the top list, and is officially the only non-Android phone that is dominating the market at the moment. So far, Samsung’s new operating system, the Bada, has been gaining favor among smart phone fans and developers alike.

As stated above, the only thing better than the X10 Mini is the X10 Mini Pro, and it is. With the slide out QWERTY keyboard on top of the same impressive specs as the original X10 Mini, this device has become quite the hit among Android fans.

HTC has plenty of Android releases this year, but only one that truly stands out: the HTC Desire. While we expected the Wildfire to actually do better (with its focus on social networking) it seems that the high end Desire truly has made lots of followers of its’ own.

Rounding up the list is Samsung’s Galaxy S Android smart phone. This incredible smart phone is not just the iPhone clone that it seems to be, but an entirely unique and incredible device that makes use of Samsung’s super AMOLED screen technology.
