BSkyB have launched a new app for the iPad, which is free to download but will cost the user £35 per month to subscribe to, if they are not already Sky TV subscribers.
Currently a similar service is available to iPhone and iPod Touch users, but this latest app has been specifically designed with the iPad in mind with a higher bit rate, which makes for a better picture etc.
The Sky Mobile TV iPad app will give the user the chance to browse the electronic programme guide (EPG) which covers the next 24 hours of viewing.
For a taster, existing Sky TV subscribers can get the service free for three months and then pay £6 per month after, for non Sky TV subscribers they are offered the first month free and then will have to pay £35 per month.
