The ‘goodybags’ start at £5 for unlimited texts, rising to £35 for calls, texts and Internet. A £10 goodybag offers 100 minutes of voice calls, unlimited texts and Internet.

The network has also launched an all-new website giving access to more than just tariff information. The site includes access to community forums and discussion boards. The new site also marks the moment the network comes out of the beta stage and works towards a full scale launch later in 2010.
The giffgaff network uses the O2 network, and was originally launched in November 2009. It is a community run network that has no call centres and does not spend large sums of money on advertising. Simple pricing is a priority and customers are invited to help with pricing strategy and branding in return for free calls, text and web browsing.
To join the network, free SIM cards can be ordered online. Users also enjoy free calls to other giffgaff subscribers as long as the account is topped up in any three month period.
