The Red Sony Ericsson Vivaz has now been launched as a SIM Free handset, originally sold as a Vodafone network exclusive this is the first time that consumers have been able to buy the Vivaz red edition without a pay monthly contract agreement or any extra incurred line rental charges.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Red incorporates all of the high specification features and sleek design of the other models in the range which now includes silver, black and blue colour schemes as well as the new FIFA World Cup edition Vivaz phones.
As a SIM free handset, the red Vivaz is unlocked to all network operators allowing you to decide whether to use a pay as you go or contract SIM card in your new phone, there are also no credit checks when buying an unlocked phone so even those who have problems getting a contract handset can now get their hands on this red edition Sony Ericsson Vivaz.

The Vivaz smartphone by Sony Ericsson really is a clever bit of kit.
Featuring something for everyone, the Vivaz mobile phone runs the Symbian S60 v.5 operating system at lightning-fast speeds, thanks to the 720 MHz PowerVR SGX graphics processor. The 3.2-inch touch-sensitive screen and accelerometer give you instant access to menus and applications and make them incredibly enjoyable to use.
3G and WiFi connectivity turns the Vivaz into a portable, feature-packed media player. You’ll be able enjoy HD videos and music, as well as take photos with the integrated 8.1-megapixel camera, complete with face and smile detection. There’s even an A-GPS chip, enabling you to add coordinates to all your snaps.
For sorting and transferring multimedia, the Vivaz has Media Go technology. It’s never been as simple to stream content from your computer to your phone. Files are automatically converted to the best playback formats, too.
That’s not all though! As well as being compatible with YouTube and FaceBook, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz includes TV Link, so you can see what’s stored on your smartphone’s 75 MB memory on a big screen.
