In a move to save money, the BBC has announced that from now on its senior staff can expect to earn around ten per cent less than their counterparts in commercial television.
This is a further change of direction for the BBC, where once it was thought that landing a senior position was like winning the lottery.
These financial changes at the BBC are designed so that the money brought in through the TV Licence can go on producing new and exciting programming, as well as providing a service that the viewer of today demands.
The introduction of new technology will be the key to success for the BBC.
