When it comes to the use of online TV, it seems that for users in the age group of between 18 and 25 this platform is becoming more popular than mainstream television.
According to a survey conducted by YouGov, it seems that this age group are turning away from traditional television to watch video online.
A further study carried out by RealNetworks has found that around thirty two per cent of the age group prefer to use online TV, while almost half of those asked actually combine the use of online TV with that of terrestrial television services.
In older age groups, the use of online video reduces dramatically with around twenty per cent of the age group 36 to 45 watching video via their computer.
