    BlackBerry Pearl 9100: SureType resurfaces

By Thomas Newton on Wednesday, 24th March 2010

Good news for BlackBerry fans who don’t have huge pockets. The streamlined BlackBerry Pearl 9100 has been spotted along with a list of specs.

The BlackBerry Pearl 9100 apparently features a SureType Qwerty keyboard. SureType squeezes two letters onto a single key. SureType also appeared on the BlackBerry 8100 and we have to say we weren’t that taken with it on that particular phone. Hopefully RIM have improved things this time round.

Specs include a 3-megapixel camera with what appears to be an LED flash. Connectivity-wise it looks as though you get Wi-Fi as well as 3G and GPRS. Bear in mind that the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 hasn’t been officially announced yet so these specs could change over the coming months.
