Attempting to encapsulate the verve, glamour and sophistication of the famed prancing horse, Acer have unveiled an exclusive Ferrari Edition of their Liquid E smartphone.
Revamped inside and out, the Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edition sports a new glossy red bodywork and chrome trim whilst the Android interior has been overtaken with a new 5-screen wallpaper and unique ringtones of an engine purring.
The Liquid E’s 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen still impresses and the 5-megapixel camera remains, whilst the redesigned microphone aims to evoke the look of an ‘air intake inlet’, keeping your handset super cool whilst you bray into it about how awesome it is to have a Ferrari phone.
The rear naturally has a carbon fibre accented Scuderia Ferrari shield emblazoned upon it, whilst a selection of accessories have pulled up alongside to complete the look – from Bluetooth earpieces to an ‘ultra-chic’ case to prevent it from shocks, dust and envious glances alike.
“From the original concept to the finished product the new smartphone was conceived down to the finest details with the idea of giving a stronger sense of belonging to all Ferrari fans,” says Gianpiero Morbello, Acer marketing and brand vice president.
Pricing and release dates are yet to be announced, but don’t worry, it’ll be reassuringly expensive.
