Acer continue plugging away at the smartphone market with a plucky couple of affordable Android handsets – the beTouch E120 and beTouch E130.
The Acer beTouch E120 rocks a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 5-way navi key, 3G, wi-fi connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS and an FM radio, whilst the beTouch E130 does all of the above with a four-row physical keyboard in tow.
Google’s operating system gets a little spruce with Acer’s UI bringing custom Facebook integration and streaming music via Spinlets, despite both handsets being powered by the earlier Android 1.6 ‘Donut’ build of the software.
Targetted towards app-loving trendy teens, the beTouch E120 is due for a late July release with the QWERTY-equipped E130 earmarked to follow in August.
Pricing is to follow in due course, but think wallet-friendly thoughts and you won’t be disappointed…
