According to sources at TechCrunch, Amazon could be about to launch their own Android app store, set to rival Google. Although no details have been confirmed, sources have revealed to the technology site that users of Amazon’s upcoming Android market will be able to pay for apps using the retailers existing checkout system. Despite Steve Jobs announcing an original release date of July this year, it looks like the white version of Apple’s iPhone 4 may finally be ready for release. Well, in the US anyway. Yesterday we reported on the launch of RIM‘s upcoming tablet, otherwise known as the Blackberry PlayBook. The gadget has already got people guessing its price tag, and one analyst claims it could cost less than £200.
